André is the managing director and co-founder of Nhumi Technologies. André was born in France and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon. Prior to founding Nhumi, he was involved in several projects on risk management for pharmaceutical companies, clinical data analysis for hospitals and eHealth for larger health organizations, including the IBM 3D Avatar that got spun off as Nhumi.
Ulf is the technology director and co-founder of Nhumi Technologies. Ulf was born in Denmark and holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the IT University of Copenhagen. He has been working in technology from his very early days and was the technical leader of several Health IT projects in data analysis including the IBM 3D Avatar.

Nhumi has worked with IBM and a Danish hospital in region North (Thy Mors) to pioneer smarter patient records that improve patient-doctor discussion. A description of the solution based on Visual Health can be seen in the press release .
Nhumi has collaborated with Novartis to develop Study Insight, a tool for the review of medical data. Used by several clinical trial teams in more than 20 studies from phase I to phase III, the tool has been shown to save time from days to hours. Nhumi and the university hospital of Zürich have participated to the Visible Patient KTI project and developed a solution that automatically positions medical images on a virtual body. The benefits in terms of time and ease-of-use compared to a standard image management system were presented at RSNA - see presentation details .
Nhumi and the Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften (ZHAW) are developing the next generation of big data analytics backend in the “NoSQL Data Warehouse” project.
